The Ten Steps to Self Building with Us

1 | So you’ve got a house design, and now you want to turn it into reality. That’s where we come in.
Send us your house drawings for a free quote.

2 | Our Sales Consultant will talk you through the different systems and services we provide and guide you to the system best suited for your build and budget. 

3 | We can take your building to weathertight stage by installing your windows and roof, and offer the design, supply and install of an MVHR system.

4 | We can also provide our Secondary Insulation Package which gives you all the insulation you need to complete your build, along with a free SAP calculation and Energy Performance Certificate.

5 | You can find out more about our high-performing build systems or explore our five fully furnished show homes. We have samples of each of our systems within our Build Systems Hub.

6 | Once you have received our quote, if you’ve already got a quote from another company, send them over to compare. We offer a fully comprehensive price for your structure which ensures there are no nasty surprises or hidden fees. We also won’t be beaten on a like-for-like quote.

7 | Once you’re convinced we’re the right people for you, start your journey with us. At this stage you’ll have a frozen design with planning.

8 | We have an Architects' Guide for each of our systems to assist with your Architect’s Building Regs submission and will provide technical support.

9 | You will be assigned an experienced Kingspan Contracts Manager for the duration of our work onsite, who will support you during our time onsite and can also offer advice on other aspects of the building work.

10 | We offer many things alongside our timber frames, such as an insulation pack (with our market-leading Kingspan Kooltherm insulation), structural engineering and architectural support service, and an SAP assessment and Energy Performance Certificate.
